Innovation Team Member - Internship

Position Overview

The Innovation team is responsible for identifying and delivering cutting-edge solutions to complex business problems across the Digi-Key enterprise. We are in need of an Innovation Team Member that can help scale the Innovation team offerings throughout the organization.

This is not exclusively an essential onsite role, though may require some onsite attendance . (offsite/hybrid/remote)  

Responsibilities

Must be able to...

• Support Innovation team members
  

• Work closely with business partners to align objectives, balance resources, and achieve deliverables
  
• Review and absorb I nnovation Program process and procedure documentation
  
• Actively participate in the development of departmental strategy
  

Other duties as assigned including but not limited to possible reallocation of efforts to other organizations per business need and management request.  

Required Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Minimum/Essential Qualifications:

• Pursuing a degree with the following focus: Business, C ommunication s , or I nnovatio n
  

• Must demonstrate the following behavioral competencies: attention to detail, communication, customer/client focus, ethical conduct, initiative, manages execution, personal
  
• An entrepreneurial mindset: You must be comfortable rolling up your sleeves, thriving in ambiguity, and getting the work done.
  
• A genuine excitement for solving problems and a strong sense of empathy for our customers
  
• Generally, spend the workday sitting at a workstation and operating computer devices, such as, but not limited to keyboard, mouse and screen
  
• Generally, spend the workday performing repetitive motions that involve or affect the hands, head, and other parts of your body
