Job Description

As a Project Management Professional, you'll join our collaborative team providing our clients with award-winning planning, engineering, design, and construction management project delivery. We are looking for a passionate Project Management Professional in St. Paul, MN who is driven by collaboration, exceeding expectations, and challenging the status quo.

Job Responsibilities:

??? Prepare, oversee, and review proposed material standards in accordance with the engineering specifications, policies and procedures defined in the engineering procedures.
??? Support materials selection and identify required testing procedures.
??? Coordinate with extensive network of SMEs and inspectors to ensure complete quality control and quality assurance of materials being purchased and delivered.
??? Review material record drawings and specifications.
??? Perform feasibility analysis and support preliminary engineering for materials being considered.
??? Provide engineering assessments, evaluations, analyses and reports as necessary.
??? Perform root cause analyses on equipment and materials defects and recommend process improvements.
??? Assist in development and monitoring of materials budgets and schedules.
??? Assist with development of material take-offs.
??? Support project close-out, including required engineering compliance and record documentation.
??? Leads the entire team to successfully meet the project objectives:
??? Cost Management - from estimating and budgeting, cost tracking and contingency management through closeout
??? Schedule tracking and management
??? Scope - establishes project scope and develops materials contracting package scopes in conjunction with the project team
??? Change Management and contingency management
??? Safety Leadership
??? Engineering - controls engineering working together with the project engineer
??? Procurement - Assures that all materials are procured according to engineering requirements and delivered on time
??? Quality - Ensures that all quality requirements are met through effective use of the assigned inspectors and field engineers
??? Closeout and Documentation - Responsible for completing all record documents and final turn over to SCG/SDG&E
Qualifications

??? 8-10 years of experience in designing, testing and installing natural gas pipelines and facilities
??? Prefer 4+ years of project management experience
??? Background in natural gas distribution and transmission; station and plant work preferred
??? Experience in propane-air and LNG plants preferred
??? Strong working knowledge of 49 CFR 192 and ASME B31.8
??? Strong working knowledge of gas piping systems, P&IDs, PFDs, site layout and material take-offs
??? BS Degree in Engineering. PE a plus, but not required
??? Previous industry experience in materials selection and testing preferred
??? Experience with rotating equipment and compressors preferred

Prefer local candidates to St. Paul, Minnesota. If not local, please expect 50% travel
