Job Overview: The Accounting Assistant supports the Controller with management of accounting workflows, monthly reconciliations, supports accounts payable, accounts receivable, collections and to keep accurate record of financial transactions.

Work Hours: 8am-4:30pm M-F Onsite in Golden Valley

Pay: $19-22/hour temp to hire

Key Requirements:

  • Associates degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline
  • 1 year minimum of accounting and financial processes experience
  • Experience adhering to generally accepted accounting principles.
  • Ability to handle sensitive, confidential information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.


Job Requirements:

Key Duties:

  • Data entry management for accounting records including accounts payable, billing, and accounts receivable.
  • Review's/reconcile billing statements, invoices, for accuracy
  • Process customer's invoices, credit memos and payments.
  • Reconciles bank accounts, process deposits and verifies accuracy.
  • Reconciles customer accounts and manages accounts receivable collection calls weekly.
  • Verifies payment of invoices and ensures payments are charged to the appropriate accounts.
  • Resolve Vendor discrepancies and process disbursements.
  • Reconciles credit card statements, ensure receipts received.
  • Maintain monthly commission reports for sales staff.
  • Maintain and process monthly sales tax reporting for all states.
