Job Details

The Corporate Controller will function as a hands-on business leader working with the senior management team to implement and execute financial and operational strategies.

  • Accurately report operations performance through monitoring of standards and ERP system data integrity, analysis and measurement of variance, and pro-active interaction at all Company locations.
  • Report on Financial metrics, results, financial statements, and prepares ad-hoc financial analysis and management reports as requested and in conformance with reporting and procedural standards.
  • Provide financial analysis of operations data. Convert data into actionable information that can be used by management to drive process improvement or otherwise make informed decisions prior to implementing manufacturing process, company infrastructure, or personnel strategy changes.
  • Advise management about issues such as resource utilization, tax strategies, and the assumptions underlying budgets and forecast.
  • Take full ownership of the creation and maintenance of companywide accounting processes and procedures, including internal auditing. Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations and legal requirements as it relates to accounting functions.
  • Provide support for audits as needed (Ex. Year-end accounting, bank, insurance, and sales tax.)
  • Work directly with accounting/audit firm, and do research necessary to ensure reports are prepared/presented in accordance with GAAP.

You should have some of the following:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business Management, or related coursework.
  • 5+ years of experience in Accounting Management, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • CPA, MBA, and/or CMA preferred not required
