    $35/hour with shift differential


    Pick your own shifts at various locations based on the needs of Monarch Healthcare Management! This is a full-time, part-time, or on-call position.


    About the Float Pool

    The Monarch Float Pool was created to help offer staffing assistance to our own Monarch facilities. Pick your own shifts based on the needs of Monarch Healthcare Management. Travel is expected for this position and there are benefits available.     Qualifications

    * Current registration as a licensed practical nurse in the state of Minnesota

    * Valid CPR Certificate * Successful completion of an approved school of nursing

    * Must be able to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation. Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of Minnesota Department of Human Services.

    *Able to travel to all Monarch facilities.


    Job Description

    As a float pool LPN at Monarch, you arrive each day at the appointed location determined to ensure that your patients are happy, healthy, and safe. You are responsible for the nursing care of our residents under the direction of the registered nurse. You are a part of the front-line staff which is most visible to our residents and their loved ones. You treat those you care for the same way you would want your own family members treated. You love people and enjoy interacting with patients and residents, as well as family, visitors, and other healthcare providers.

    You are involved in the care planning process, and you adhere to standards of care and follow specific policies and procedures. You complete charting, facilitate all physician orders, administer medications, sign out medications and treatments, obtain and transcribe physician orders, and documents PRN's. You observe, document, and report findings to the RN.

    You also provide leadership for the nursing assistants. You lead by example, mentor, and coach them on providing quality care and inspire them to do it with a genuinely positive and caring attitude. Your good leadership helps maintain a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
