YOUR ROLE

  • Executes the operational plan of an engineering task based on engineering designs and work specifications
  • Works closely with external contractors and ensures the quality of delivered services and products
  • Sets up or adjusts complex equipment according to manufacturing specifications
  • Identifies and implements opportunities of process optimization
  • Diagnose through trouble shooting equipment malfunction. Understand criticality of equipment and escalate accordingly to leadership.
  • Repair, adjustments and machinery maintenance, building equipment, and systems within the plant such as motors, pumps, valves, hydraulic and pneumatic systems, conveyors, boilers, belts, fans, air conditioners, etc.
  • Request and specify fabrication of parts and custom equipment by machinist. Use of manual lathes, mills, grinders etc. for minor modifications.
  • Complete project involved with plumbing, welding, machinery disassembly and reassembly, and carpentry.
  • RO system maintenance and monitoring and wastewater system maintenance and monitoring.
  • Respond to and assist during plant emergencies as part of the Emergency Response Team.
  • Performs other duties as required.


YOUR SKILLS

  • High school diploma or its equivalent required. Two-year technical degree or accredited apprenticeship program or the equivalent in a technical field is preferred 0-3 years of proven experience in the, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic fields are required and the ability to demonstrate high proficiency in these areas.
  • Experience and ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
  • Must be able to work well with all levels of personnel whether individually or in a team environment, and especially must be able to interface and communicate with line operators in order to assist with repairs and troubleshooting.
  • Willing to work any shift and overtime as required. High degree of precision working with minimum tolerances required.
  • Ability to climb in overhead structures, to work beneath machines and in close quarters performing analysis and repair work.
  • Must be highly safety conscious. Exposed to high voltage electricity.
