Construction Purchasing Agent (Direct Hire)

Job Description:

• Obtains and evaluates all documents/data required for bidding, including specifications and scopes of work
• Responsible for budget comparison with bid spreadsheets for all contracts and change orders
• Prepares bid documents with detailed scopes of work, plans, and exhibits.
• Reviews and processes every change order request
• Read and understand blueprints and specifications to ensure contract compliance.
• Price negotiations
• $65-75K, depending on experience
• Direct hire with FULL BENEFITS
• This role is 100% in office

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration or related field preferred
• 1-2 years of purchasing experience
• Construction industry experience is highly preferred
• Must be able to read/interpret blueprints
• Skilled in price negotiations
• CAD experience is a plus!
