As the Manager Audit SCFS (Remote), you will be responsible for managing a team of auditors, including maintaining their competency profiles in accordance with scheme, client and accreditation requirements.
Principal Accountabilities Include, But Are Not Limited To
- Identify and address auditor resource needs
- Appoint and on-board new auditor team members
- Identify and manage auditor calibration activities
- Monitor and managing auditor performance and the quality of their work (i.e. auditor KPIs)
- Monitor and manage effective auditor utilization
- Assist with investigation and resolve of internal and external complaints
- Standardize Audit Delivery approach
- Optimal resource balancing of FT/PT vs IC utilization
- Controlling cost as a % of revenue
- Enterprises auditor quality metrics
- Auditor retention
- Ensuring supply to meet the demand for auditors
- Prior auditing experience
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to lead a group of technically skilled and qualified individuals
- Experience with aligning performance for success and focusing on guiding others in accomplishing work objectives
- Experience developing and using collaborative relationships to facilitate the accomplishment of work goals and build strategic working relationships
- Actively participate as a member of a team to move the team toward the completion of goals
- Effective decision-making skills
- Ability to generate innovative solutions in work situations
- Ability to set high standards of performance for self and others; assuming responsibility and accountability for successfully completing assignments or tasks
- Strong administrative skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Previous food manufacturing/production environment
- Knowledge of GFSI recognized schemes, e.g. SQF, BRC, IFS, FSSC 22000
