Job Description
A Drafter is responsible for completing the following duties:
- Complete Conveyor Blueprints
- Create detailed Fabrication, Weldment, and Assembly drawings
- Complete bills of material, and routings in JD Edwards ERP system
- Contribute ideas for new designs or improving existing designs
- Update drawings and implement design changes
- Drawings and bills of material are accurate and contain all information required by production
- Drawings meet Superior Industries' drafting standards
- Support production team by answering questions on blueprints
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- Use AutoCAD, Autodesk Inventor, ERP software, Google Drive and Windows-based programs effectively
- Certifications or Technical education and/or applicable experience in drafting
- Thorough understanding of:
- Drafting standards
- Dimensioning and Tolerances
- 3-dimensional layouts and 2-dimension projections
