WDAY-TV has an immediate opening for a Weekend Anchor

WDAY, the number #1 station in Fargo, North Dakota is looking for a Weekend Anchor to join our award winning team and work in our multi-platform newsroom. As the weekend anchor, you will be responsible for anchoring, producing and writing stories for our four weekend newscasts. The weekdays you do not anchor, you will report for our evening newscasts, which involves setting up and conducting interviews, writing stories, shooting video and editing stories. The successful candidate will have good communication and organizational skills. A college degree in journalism or a related field is preferred. The successful candidate must have a clean driving record, be organized and work well under pressure.

WDAY is an award-winning station, taking home numerous regional Emmys, Edward R Murrow awards and two national Edward R. Murrow awards over the last few years. We are a locally owned and operated station covering North Dakota and western Minnesota. We produce over 30 hours of local news each week and have a staff of over 35 journalists working in our news, weather and sports departments. Our newsroom includes spacious new work stations, meeting spaces and a hangout area complete with couches and televisions. WDAY will invest in you and your career:
