  • Our Benefits Specialist will serve as the primary contact for all benefits activity including working with benefits broker, plan design, open enrollment, FMLA/STD, and ACA reporting!
  • Acts as employee advocate in troubleshooting benefit issues and resolving disputes with insurance carriers. Addresses all inquiries received through the benefits email inbox
  • Assists with 401K administration, including answering employee questions, resolving file errors, and working with financial planning vendors on planning/communicating education webinars and on-site visits
  • Administer leave of absences, disability, and return to work programs in accordance with Federal and State laws
  • Participates in benefit consultant and vendor meetings to ensure company compliance
  • Oversee the annual benefits open enrollment process.
  • Administers and manages all benefit audits to completion with timely thoroughness
Requirements:
  • 5 years of human resources experience with a heavy focus on employee benefits!
  • 2+ years of workers compensation, FMLA and disability claims administration experience
  • Bachelor's Degree is preferred
  • ADP Workforce Now experience is highly preferred
  • Knowledge of federal/state laws related to benefits
  • Previous experience in a Shared Services environment is a plus
  • Able to work independently & adapt to changing priorities, while adjusting workload fluctuations based on needs of business.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy; strong analytic, problem solving, judgment and conflict resolution skills.
