Provides Quality/Regulatory leadership and support for Supplier Quality Management systems, executing system transactional work, routinely checking for compliance with standards, and providing training to customers/stakeholders.

  • Effectively achieves results that meet business and individual objectives. Ensures activities and items are in compliance with both company quality assurance standards and applicable government regulations, such as GMPs and ISO requirements.

  • Ensures that established manufacturing inspection, sampling and statistical process control procedures are followed as applicable.

  • Performs quality systems audits. Maintain and demonstrate an appropriate level of knowledge and skill in product forms, quality systems, processes, and regulations.

  • Establish and maintain good customer rapport, while driving solutions to meet business needs.

  • Develop and maintain a strong spirit of partnership.

  • Conduct all communications and transactions with the utmost integrity. Communicate fully with superiors, teammates, and others who have a need to know.

  • Executes continuous improvement activities for established processes and supports development of new processes.

  • Builds and maintains capability in QMS, Standards, and Regulations to support objectives.



Position Specific Accountabilities :

  • Ensures KCNA Supplier Quality Management compliance to procedures and regulations through completion of required elements of the Supplier Quality Management process.

  • Collaborates with key customers to ensure Supplier Quality Management requirements are carried out and Regulatory compliance is maintained.

  • Provides process expertise, guidance, and training relative to assigned quality systems.

  • Supports improvement plans for assigned Quality Systems to deliver business results. Maintains relationships with system stakeholders such as Research & Engineering, Mills, Suppliers, and the KCNA Change Control team to ensure accuracy of data.

  • Follow-up on CAPA, SCAR and QNC actions assigned. May initiate QNCs as needed. Executes the Quality Management process including processing of Supplier Corrective Actions, reporting and data management to support supplier reviews, communicating with Suppliers and K-C stakeholder teams, and maintenance of supplier records.

  • Execute the co-pack management process, including the development of copacking instructions/specifications and related documents, communication to copackers and K-C stakeholder teams, and maintenance of document & record controls for these documents.



Scope :

This position reports to the KCNA Sr. Quality Manager - Supplier Quality Management. Has responsibility for assigned customers as well as assisting with other customers. Supports the implementation or may lead small-sized initiatives. Plans and carries out customer service and project responsibilities with minimal direction, but asks for assistance/ guidance when appropriate.


Qualifications/Education/Experience Required :

  • Normally requires a Bachelor's degree in science, engineering or related discipline and 2+ years of broad experience in a Quality, Manufacturing, Research or Regulatory function.

  • Knowledge of Medical Device requirements is desired.

  • Demonstrates application of LEAN/ Continuous Improvement skills.

  • Requires training experience and skill.

Position may require travel of up to 20% to support business requirements
