Job Description

Roles and Responsibilities

Supply Chain Program Leader is a functional role responsible for overall Supply Chain compliance to UDI (Unique Device Identifier), MDR (Medical Device Regulation), and traceability regulations by providing requirements to product teams, execution of compliance plan, standardizing processes and providing metrics to measure compliance success, and remediation where required. This role will work across several areas of Supply Chain in addition to being a member of the QA/RA Core Team to support new regulations that are introduced and translate to Supply Chain requirements.

This role will also be responsible for functional Product Holds process and requirements, providing leadership in the transition to a digital platform.

UDI Traceability and IBW2W (Installed Base Wing to Wing) Responsibilities:

  • Build knowledge needed in both UDI and Install Base Wing to Wing, focusing on medical device traceability through Supply Chain
  • Supply Chain functional requirements for Compliance program, for new countries and improvement to existing process design
  • Failure monitoring for Transactional Data Reporting and drive standard processes across Supply Chain (working with Product teams) to reduced failures
  • Communicate progress and status to QA and Supply Chain leadership teams
  • Functional process SME (Subject Matter Expert) for Supply Chain Compliance related audits

Product Holds Responsibilities:

  • As Is' Process mapping for current holds processes and identification of pain points
  • To Be' process mapping
  • Provide Supply Chain requirements, working closely with the Central Quality team and Digital Technical Product Manager
  • User testing and feedback of Digital solutions
  • Training, Communication and Deployment plan, execution

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree Supply Chain Management, STEM or equivalent practical experience
  • 5 or more years of Supply Chain experience; preferably in advanced manufacturing engineering, manufacturing or product structure areas
  • Able to work well with global teams, including time-zone flexibility
  • Project Management experience
  • Cost, Budget and timing experience
  • P roduct structure and Product labeling requirements experience
  • Experience in facilitation or leading core operating mechanisms, including presenting to leadership teams
  • Ability to influence modality leaders and senior leadership through credible knowledge and experience, persuasion and influencing skills
  • Previous experience in Supply Chain Lean initiative

Desired Characteristics:

  • Previous project experience working with a technical team to implement a process in a tool(s)
  • Understanding of core processes (and tools) used across the Supply Chain UDI space - GLPROD, product structure, Order Management, Logistics
  • Knowledge of International Trade Controls
  • Demonstrates clarity of thinking while working through with limited information and vague problem definition
