Mechanical Engineer

Description:

Coordinates solution to problems Design/assist in the installation/repair of spreader rolls Coordinate/assist in the installation/repair of spreader rolls as assigned Interprets engineering drawings and other associated technical literature as necessary to correctly manufacture and/or repair spreader rolls Write internal and external reports to document solutions to field problems and maintains whatever communications are required by the customer Identifies critical equipment maintenance concerns for clients as necessary to ensure equipment operational integrity Review co-works design work for accuracy before sent to shop floor for production Work with spreader roll team and shop personnel Assist identify failure mode Communicate effectively through written and verbal communication Good problem-solving skills CAD and Solidworks experience Generate work instructions for the shop using blueprints and customer specifications Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor or management Use of proper safety/personal protection equipment
