Aon is looking for a Compliance Consultant- Pharmacy Practice

Aon's pharmacy practice is integrated with consulting colleagues outside the practice who bring expertise in all areas of healthcare and who share the vision for efficient and effective healthcare.

This role will preferably be based out of our Bloomington, MN office. For non-local candidate, we may consider having candidates applicants located near any of our US based Aon offices-as long as they are close to an airport. These exceptions will be determined case by case.

Candidate with more experience may be considered for a Senior Consultant level role.
Your impact as a Compliance Consultant- Pharmacy Practice
Job Responsibilities:

This role acts as a liaison between our Rx audit suppliers, our internal account management teams, and our clients to ensure all Rx audit projects are performed on-time, on-budget, and up to our quality standards. This role serves as a subject matter expert in Rx audit, leading projects from kickoff to report read-out, and requires translating the complex world of Rx benefits (and audit findings) to high-level stakeholders.
  • Serve as engagement lead for our client-facing engagements
  • Oversee Rx audit supplier quality, timeliness, and engagement performance (including intervention when the supplier cannot proceed due to complex interpretation issues, disputes, etc.)
  • Maintain tracking worksheet of all in-flight client agreements (approx. 700 engagements annually), keep Rx audit leadership informed of status
  • Perform reviews of our client's processes and vendors according to our engagement requirements
  • Prepare and lead client-facing webinars to discuss engagement results
  • Tailor results to each client's specific needs and schedule
  • Identify client risk situations and escalate when needed
  • Approx. 80% of role will be focused on our Health Plan (Carrier) clients, 20% will focus on our Employer clients
  • Travel up to 25%
  • Other project management tasks/oversight tasks as assigned
You Bring Knowledge and Expertise
Required Experience:
  • 1-2 years of experience in Consulting or the health space strongly preferred.
  • Excellent communications skills (written and verbal).
  • Strong organizational & interpersonal skills. Ability to handle multiple projects at one time.
  • Project management and strong analytical ability.
  • Analytical background (data analytics, or other analytical career background)
Preferred Experience:
  • Although not a requirement for this role, experience/exposure in these areas are highly advantageous. For those who do not have this experience, Aon has training programs for each of these:
  • Familiarity with the business of pharmacy or medical, as it applies to Carriers (Health Plans)
  • Familiarity with the business of pharmacy, as it applies to medium-large employers
  • Familiarity with CMS Managed Care (Medicare) as it applies to Carriers (Health Plans)

  • Analytical Thinking - Gains an accurate understanding of the situation and quickly recognize when additional information is required. Maintains the necessary foresight to identify potential complications and acts swiftly to avoid and/or resolve these issues. Analyzes requests and proposes alternative solutions to improve effectiveness and efficiency, where applicable.
  • Communication - Demonstrates a professional approach and strong oral/written communication skills.
  • Attention to Detail - Processes requests thoroughly and accurately. Completes work diligently and carefully up front to avoid re-work later.
  • Project Management - Establishes priorities for multiple tasks/projects based on timeliness, importance, and urgency of project completion. Ensures that all work obstacles are addressed to minimize wasted time and is able to reprioritize projects as required. Accepts the delegation of responsibilities from management team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of work product. Communicates with team on a regular basis to ensure expectations are aligned, transitions of work are smooth, and project completion is timely.
  • Problem Solving - Takes initiative and collaborates with others to develop solutions and bring issues to resolution.
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree or Associates Degree; or equivalent years of industry experience.

The salary range for this position is $66,000 - $115,000 annually. This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant's education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data. The salary may also be adjusted based on applicant's geographic location. The salary range reflected is an estimate, based on a primary work location of the state of Colorado. The actual salary may vary for applicants in a different geographic location. This position is eligible to participate in one of Aon's annual incentive plans. The amount of the incentive varies and is subject to the terms and conditions of the applicable incentive plan.
