Job Description Summary

The Onshore Wind Product Development Operations & Lean Leader provides leadership across a wide range of operational areas including component test labs, critical business processes, budget, and metrics & dashboards. In addition, this leadership role will partner with the leadership team to drive our Lean culture transformation, lean practices, and operating rhythm.

Job Description

  • Work with Function/Region to develop HK Matrix/TTI/KPIs, create vision aligned to HK Matrix to cascade throughout the organization
  • Run 2 kaizen/bootcamps per month (a kaizen is defined as a week event including the final standard presentation during the event).Maintain and communicate calendar of events.
  • Tabulate kaizen savings at end of each event (including LTT savings)
  • Ensure kaizen leaders conduct 30-60-90 day reviews of the kaizen events with documented evidence
  • Coordinate PSR roll-out for respective business segments
  • Maintain lean certification process
  • Coach and mentor, all levels of management to adhere to the HK process, MOR standard, and lean principles
  • Submit content for quarterly newsletter and best practice sharing
  • Align Workday Goals to ONW and roll them down to Senior Lean Leaders
  • Assist with developing Lean Transformation Team members throughout their assignment
  • Develop, maintain, and improve Lean training material
  • Update Lean competency requirements
  • Assist in annual roll out of Lean Vision & strategy by Q4 of every year for respective business segments
  • Support and maintain Kaizen Optimizer for each of our respective business segments
  • Identify and conduct Lean Assessments for specified sites
  • Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited university or college or equivalent knowledge/experience
  • Significant years of experience in operations with proven track record of results using Lean methodologies
  • Ability and willingness to travel 75% of the time
