Under the general direction of the Domestic Senior Tax Manager, performs US domestic direct and indirect compliance and consulting tax duties. The qualified candidate will also support other members of the Tax Department and ensure compliance with tax laws while minimizing the tax burden of the company.

This role allows for a flexible hybrid option.

How you will do it:
  • Help to lead the quarterly and annual Domestic income tax provision process, including coordination with the global tax accounting team.
  • Analysis of financial information relevant to the preparation of US domestic tax filings, with a view towards identifying tax reduction opportunities.
  • Research US domestic tax-related issues, and analyze the tax effects of proposed transactions, including reorganizations, acquisitions, and divestitures.
  • Preparation and/or review of US Domestic tax returns, tax payments, and claims for refund.
  • Prepare, update and organize information that supports US domestic tax filings.
  • Provide assistance with US domestic tax audits, appeals of tax assessments, and responses to federal & state taxing authority information requests and notices.
  • Keeps up-to-date on US domestic tax law changes, cases and rulings.
  • Work in a fast-paced tax department which values motivated team members who successfully navigate multiple priorities. You will be driven to continue to expand your tax knowledge in order to prepare for complex issues within the constantly changing tax landscape.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to assist with various tax projects.
  • Identify and implement control improvements, process efficiencies and data automation.


What we look for:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or equivalent education and experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive responsibility in a US domestic tax role
  • Customer service orientation and Team Player attitude
  • Proven analytical, organizational, and documentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written, including the ability to communicate technical issues to both tax and non-tax professionals
  • High competency level with various income tax provision and compliance software applications including OneSource Tax Provision and Corptax; SAP knowledge a plus
  • CPA desired
