RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES
A General Cleaner is responsible for cleaning and sanitizingvarious spaces which could include offices, meeting rooms, bathrooms, kitchen, hallways, locker rooms, and public areas. Snow shoveling and salting sidewalks / entryways are also position duties that are required during weather incidents as needed.
* Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc)
* Gather and empty trash receptacles
* Stock and maintain supply rooms
* Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and equipment
* Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment
* Follow all health and safety regulations
* Ability to learn how to operate a floor scrubber - will train
* Clean and supply designated building areas (dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, restroom cleaning, etc)
REQUIRED SKILLS
* No janitorial experience required, we provide on the job training
* Successful candidates will be reliable, have strong attention to detail, be flexible on occasion and are able to work independently
* Able to meet physical requirements, such as lifting up to 40lbs, bending, twisting, climbing stairsand standing for duration of shift
* Must be a minimum of 18 years of age for consideration
* Must pass a backgroundscreening
DETAILS
These are _PART-TIME, SECOND SHIFT_General Cleaner positions working a_3:30PM to 7:30PM_ Monday through Friday schedule with occassional weekend hours depending upon weather.
_THE HOURLY PAYRATE IS $12.00 PER HOUR._
