Primary Responsibilities:

• Oversees analysis and fluctuation research for Oxford (USP/Pulse) activity annualized revenues of $8B and processed members of 13M
• Oversees analysis and fluctuation research for Pacificare (Unet/NICE) activity annualized revenues of $1.7B and processed members of 5M
• Subject Matter Expert on UnitedHealthcare Strategic Platform (USP/Cirrus) including requirements, testing and production activities
• Coordinates financial (D&T) audit responses for RFT
• Maintains and enhances processes to ensure accuracy and minimize risk to financial statement reporting while reconciling, analyzing and reviewing financial transactions in preparation of month end close
• Develops and maintains internal control processes and standard operating procedures for RFT
• Work direction for one senior accountant and one accounting consultant

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• 2+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance
• Solid understanding of generally accepted accounting principles and financial statements
• Intermediate level of proficiency with Excel

Colorado, Connecticut or Nevada Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $53,300 to $95,100. The salary range for Connecticut / Nevada residents is $58,800 to $104,600. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, UnitedHealth Group offers benefits such as, a comprehensive benefits package, incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase and 401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements).
