Job Description
The Industrial Equipment Division is looking for a highly motivated individual for the position of Electrical Engineer focused on continuous improvement of our industrial welding products.
This position requires exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with engineering teams, operations/manufacturing, customer support and marketing to efficiently support our products.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
* Primary responsibilities include product support of our industrial welding and induction power sources, wire feeders, and related accessories.
* Work closely with the Sustaining Engineering team, Manufacturing/Operations, Product Management, Customer Service, and our end users to improve current products and assure customer satisfaction.
* Effectively work with other electrical, software, mechanical, and welding engineers to support our products.
* Involvement in electrical hardware product support activities including circuit analysis, component selection, prototyping, qualification testing, troubleshooting, reliability testing, third-party compliance testing and documentation.
* Participate in project meetings and be responsible for assigned action items and project deliverables.
* Ensure adherence to regulatory and quality standards.
