Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for a Sr Principal Engineer Systems to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located in Melbourne, Florida.

Essential Functions:

Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.

The selected candidate should thrive in a fast-paced work environment with high expectations, significantly diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and 9+ years of test and/or integration engineering experience OR Master's Degree in a (STEM) discipline and 7+ years of test and/or integration engineering experience OR PhD Degree in a (STEM) discipline and 5+ years of test and/or integration engineering experience

Must have experience in Mission Systems

Must have DOD Interim Secret Security Clearance (or higher)

Must be able to obtain and maintain an active DoD Top Secret Security Clearance and PAR

Preferred Qualifications:

Experience in telemetry room as a test conductor and/or data monitor for flight and ground testing.

Recent Flight Test Engineer experience.

Full understanding of all aspects of testing to include requirements definition, test planning, test conduct and test reporting.

Experiences in an Gov/contractor Integrated Test Teat (ITT, ITF, CTF, etc)

Salary Range: 108600 - 163000

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
