Stutsman County is accepting applications for a Treasurer / Recorder until Wednesday, February 2, 2022.
Brief description of duties: Plan, organize, direct and coordinate the operations, functions and activities of the Treasurer's and Recorder's Office to comply with statutory duties. Responsible for preparing tax statements and settlements and performing accounting functions required for maintaining departmental accounts in accordance with generally accepted accounting principles.
Position requires a minimum of a bachelor's degree plus three to five years related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience at the time of hire and must be able to be bonded. Ongoing training from related professional associations is required following hire. Knowledge of effectively working with the public, supervisory background, budgeting, problem resolution and public administration is important.
Salary: $4,689.76 to $4,879.22/mo plus benefits package!
