Are you a Structural Engineer that has experience with commercial buildings? Would you like to work with a great group of people that have fun while they work?

AEC Resources is hiring a Structural Engineer to join an established and growing consulting engineering firm. In this very fulfilling role, you will provide engineering services for a variety of market sectors within the built environment. Current projects range in size up to $60M and include automated distribution centers, healthcare, corporate, retail, hospitality, and others.

This role is accompanied with massive growth potential. Near-term you will be supported in the initiatives you choose including which can include more client development, implementing new processes, focusing on certain technologies, etc. Acquiring equity in the firm is viable.

What You Will Do:

You will have the opportunity to work on various commercial architecture projects from schematic design through construction, while also helping manage clients and projects.

  • Design structural systems for a variety of vertical construction projects including commercial and light industrial projects
  • Provide technical and engineering direction for commercial architecture projects
  • Develop creative solutions to move projects to completion
  • Gain experience with a variety of materials including wood, structural steel, concrete, and masonry

Job Requirements:
  • 3-7+ years of applicable structural engineering experience with building structural systems
  • A four-year degree in Civil Engineering, or related field. Master's Degree in Structural Engineering a plus
  • Completion of the FE exam, or Engineer in Training (EIT) preferred
  • Revit and/or Tekla proficiency a plus
