Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY
The Aviation Facility Maintenance Technician performs a wide range of functions to aid in the operations of the JL Flight Department. This individual oversees the cleanliness, maintenance and proper operations of company owned flight department facilities, vehicles, and equipment. This position reports to and assists the Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician with ensuring the aircraft are cleaned, serviced, fully stocked and ready for departure. Candidate needs to be forward thinking and always looking for ways to ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction for the passengers. Must be willing to work a flexible shift dependent upon flight schedules, including weekend coverage, and be available on short notice. We need someone that is dependable, trustworthy, and has a strong focus on attention to detail and safety.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The duties and responsibilities of this position shall consist of, but not be limited to, the following:
Assist the Lead Aviation Maintenance Technician and Director of Maintenance with aircraft towing, fueling, cleaning, stocking, servicing, and departure/arrivals as needed.
Ensure company vehicles and equipment are regularly serviced, cleaned, and maintained.
Cleans and maintains flight department hangar and facilities.
In charge of purchasing and ensuring proper levels of aircraft snacks, drinks, and consumables are available and within expiration dates at all times.
Ensures proper levels of office supplies are available.
Performs snow removal, mowing, gardening, and exterior landscaping around the hangar as needed.
Assists with shipping and receiving of aircraft part cores, supplies, and other items as needed.
Works directly with facility vendors as needed to repair or maintain company facilities and assets.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as necessary.
