YOUR ROLE

  • Coordinates and supports the transport planning process to ensure delivery of goods on-time
  • Coordinates with transport planner closely and ensures availability of carriers
  • Coordinates with warehouses and Customer Service Control Tower Plans deliveries not managed, i.e. rush orders
  • Solves issues communicated from transport planner during the planning process
  • Provides new / changed master data to transport planner
  • Reviews and proposes improvements on transport planning scope, i.e. exclusion of lanes
  • Manages transport complaints
  • Provides reconciliation of deviations in carrier invoicing with Purchasing / Finance
  • Prepares transport KPIs and reports
  • Operate material handling equipment in a safe manner according to Henkel policy
  • Process incoming material accurately, inspect goods against packing list & purchase orders
  • Document receipt and condition of material on bill of lading, note damages and discrepancy
  • Enter incoming material into Logos/SAP system accurately.
  • Assist in cycle count program Maintain transaction accuracy in Henkel systems
  • Maintain housekeeping of docks, aisle and general warehouse area.
  • Assemble documents and records as directed Tanker loading and unloading


YOUR SKILLS

  • Education: High School Diploma/GED required Experience
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Forklift driving experience required
  • Must have strong English written and verbal communication skills
  • Must be able to work Overtime as needed
  • Must be able to lift up to 50lbs
