What You Will Be Doing
As the Data Engineer, you will create and support new ETL, database processes, and data storage architectures in service of our FinTech business and core banking processes.
- Build out pipelines to support our RDBMS/NoSQL structures
- Participate in and contribute to our data analytics and cloud-based strategy
- Provide recommendations during database migration from on-premise to Azure cloud
- Bridge the gap between traditional data architecture and emerging cloud architecture, assisting in the evaluation and deployment of toolsets and solutions
- Participate in existing production support, on-call rotation
- Demonstrate excellent documentation skills, prioritizing clarity and succinctness
- Understand basic concepts of performance tuning and assist in troubleshooting/improving existing processes to be more performant
Qualifications
- AAS/BS or relevant certificate
- 5+ years' SQL Server experience - DDL/DML
- 3+ years' creating/maintaining complex SSIS packages
- 2+ years' Azure SQL
- SQL Server development methodologies, relational database concepts
- ETL, database processes, data storage architectures
- Azure Data Factory
- NoSQL/Data Lake
- Financial/Banking Industry
