We are seeking an Electrical Engineer to join our Consumer Products Professional Business in Neenah, WI that will specialize in our Devices product lines.As an Electrical Engineer, you'll create value by developing control systems utilizing electronics for dispenser products. The selected candidate will be responsible for the development of Electronic Assemblies utilizing Altium Designer within Devices for paper, soap, and cutlery products from concept through commercialization. This position supports both sustaining and new to world design as well as automated testing efforts. In addition to creating, verifying, and troubleshooting circuit boards, they will coordinate with mechanical, software, and project engineering to ensure that all project requirements are met. This position reports to the Electrical Engineering Supervisor - Devices.What You Will Do In Your RoleDevelop proof of concept and prototype devices to experiment with new ideas, concepts, and technologiesLead and execute multiple projects according to agreed-upon timelinesDevelop, analyze, and document electrical schematics and layouts - this includes using modeling and simulation toolsWork in a cross-functional team environment to develop and document system requirements and specificationsAssess risk, identify problems, analyze options, and propose solutionsWork with product teams to develop system validation test plans utilizing statistical analysisThe Experience You Will BringRequirements:Knowledge of electronic hardware development and tools for creating, assembling, and analyzing circuit boardsExperience with designing analog and digital circuitryKnowledge of embedded microcontrollers and programming / troubleshooting techniquesWhat Will Put You AheadBachelor's degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Electrical Engineering TechnologyKnowledge of motor controls, power supplies, low power electronics, or wireless communicationsKnowledge of Product Development process from prototyping to market launchExperience with advanced Electronics troubleshooting techniques and toolsConsumer Product Development experienceExperience with electronic and mechanical manufacturing processesExperience using SAPExperience using Altium software for schematic capture and PCBA layoutExperience developing electronics assemblies from concept to commercializationOur goal is for each employee, and their families, to live fulfilling and healthy lives.
