and,Building a personal knowledge base through proactive industry research and analysis activities and efforts to build product deliverables either individually or with client service teams;Providing analytic tradecraft to include critical thinking best practices, analytic writing and peer review;Creating analyses that focus on "telling a story" rather than merely presenting facts; Translating and developing captivating stories by drawing attention to critical insights derived from their experience; Communicating the "art of the possible" to various stakeholders and team members in order to solve problems for the practice is crucial; and,Understanding of the industry / sector with robust experience (9+ years) of one or more of the following sectors: Banking and Capital Markets, Asset and Wealth Management, Insurance, Private Equity, Health Services, Pharma and Life Sciences, Technology, Media and Telecom, Industrial Products, Energy, Utilities and Mining, or Consumer Markets.Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success as a team leader:Using business software, including proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, analytic/visualization tools like Alteryx and Tableau, and basic financial analysis packages;Leveraging comprehensive analytics methodologies and tools, especially as it applies within a professional services environment;Establishing personal networks relevant to the industry;Exhibiting team commitment and the willingness to support the team in the attainment of organizational goals;Guiding and developing others in the group and across the Pwc Intelligence organization and the Firm who are new to the industry or subject matter;Synergizing analysts of various experience levels;Leading and coaching other analysts team through scoping, execution, and delivery of sector or macroeconomic/geopolitical analysis; Demonstrating a high degree of polish and expertise when communicating analysis with stakeholders; Evaluating, managing, prioritizing and executing multiple projects for depth and breadth of benefit of value, and provide recommendations on quality reviews to delivery;Ensuring analysis is of the highest quality and delivered according to established guidelines and standards;Focusing time to enable constant self-acumen, and enabling knowledge transfer across a team and use it as the basis for new analysis; Identifying and ideating new areas for future analytic coverage;Developing and sustaining relationships with client teams that utilize Business Acumen analysis;Staying current on insights and themes from external sources on your area of responsibility;Tracking, monitoring, and following up with client teams on feedback;Managing a team creating solutions and insights with fluidity, professionalism and maturity; and,Demonstrating ability to learn quickly and operate in a high paced environment in which subject matter expertise, analytic tradecraft and global acumen are necessary ingredients for mission success.
