We are working with a regional bank who is seeking to add a (remote) Business Banking Sales Manager to their team! If you are an experienced sales professional who enjoys leading and mentoring a team, we want to hear from you. This individual will be accountable for the Commercial and Ag loan volume for the bank. You will coach Relationship Managers on how to be effective and trusted advisors for bank clients to build and maintain business relationships. Looking for somebody who can bring new ideas and a fresh perspective to help transform current initiatives.

Responsibilities:
- Recruit new RM's to build the team while coaching and mentoring existing RM's to ensure they are meeting or exceeding loan goals
- Directs and coaches the sales efforts of the Commercial and Ag Departments
- Coaches the Relationship Managers to develop and grow client relationships from within and outside existing customer base.
- Manage a successful sales team to meet sales goals and quotas while maintaining positive interdepartmental relationships
- Effectively lead and manage people, driving results while building a positive team atmosphere and culture
- Coach staff on how to be an effective trusted advisor for clients to build and maintain bank business relationships
- Develop business relationships while growing market share in our current MN, IA, SD, and digital markets
- Establish clear expectations around activities and outcomes is critical to success of the department
- Identify opportunities for growth and development
- Ensure image and reputation in each of our markets served is at a standard
- Work closely with Senior Lender who aids the sales staff with deal structuring and pricing questions
- Prepare and review sales reports
- Refer leads to the sales team
- Participate in community involvement
Experience:
- 4-year degree or equivalent work experience
- 10+ years of Sales Management
- Prior experience managing a sales team with a proven track record of success
Have any of the followings skills or experience? It's a plus! If not, still apply.
- 3+ years experience in Business Banking
- Proven ability to meet sales goals and quotas for a team or department
- Knowledge of C&I loans and how to build a portfolio
Location: Remote but must be based in Minnesota, Iowa, or South Dakota.
