Staff Electrical Engineer

Kelly Engineering Resources has a great direct hire opportunity for an **Electrical Engineer** in the **Kohler, WI** area. This position offers a competitive compensation package and company growth potential. _This position offers regional remote options but must be within a 3-4 hour drive of company offices._

In this role, you'll be on a team that focuses on new products, allows you the ability to innovate and think outside the box. You'll feel like you're working at a startup within a big company! **Basic functions and skills are:**

+ Develop specs for products

+ Develop advanced controls technologies and algorithms

+ Electrical schematics for generator controller - support controller integration

+ Work with CAD design analysts and provide technical & design direction

**What you'll need:**

+ Strong understanding of power generation, wiring/harnessing, interfaces with electrical components and

+ Electrical Engineering Degree with extensive experience in Controls systems preferred

+ Experience with embedded software and firmware is a bonus

+ 6+ years engineering experience with development of new products (preferably clean energy or power generation)

+ Basic knowledge of one or more of the following C, C++, Assembly Language

+ Knowledge of any of the following a plus: MATLAB, PSPICE, Simulink, Orcad, Verilog, VHDL, Microsoft Project, 8d and A3 Problem Solving Approaches
