Excellent Position for an individual that works well in a non-traditional environment.
The Clinical Psychologist is responsible for patient care activities, evaluation and treatment, as well as, psychological testing and treatment planning. The patient population served is primarily pain patients, in addition pre-surgical evaluation for spinal procedures. The Clinical Psychologist will participate in clinic activities including the promotion of the chronic pain program. The psychologist will provide services at the Interventional Pain & Physical Medicine Clinic in St. Cloud. The individual is expected to participate in the group practice of medicine through teamwork and collaboration and to act in a way that is consistent with the Clinic's mission.
We are a Outpatient Pain Medicine Clinic. Working under the direction of a Board Certified Pain and Rehabilitation Specialist, our full time nursing and physical therapy staff work closely with behavioral health to carry out a comprehensive treatment plan.
This is an ideal position for someone looking for great flexibility and an unstructured environment. This is a positive, upbeat work environment. The patient population is responsive to treatment. The philosophy is that of empowerment and positive reinforcement. Not a typical pain clinic environment.
