Foundry Design Engineer

This full time, permanent Foundry Design Engineercareer opportunity is at a state of the art, high quality foundry. Their onsite lab provides a variety of analysis to ensure the castings are of very high quality. Employee tenure is long as employees really like working here and many retire from here. Employees are never bored as there is a lot of variety in the products produced.

The duties and responsibilities of the successful candidate should include the following:

* Designing & manufacturing of new tooling for castings
* Creating models and engineering drawings
* Interpreting engineering drawings
* Creating new specifications and detailing for cores that go into the molds pouring
* Doing scrap analysis
* Performing corrective action

The background of the successful candidate will include the following:

* A four year Mechanical Engineer or Manufacturing Engineer degree
* Two or more years of engineering design experience
* Possess a solid work history
* Being a US citizen or green card holder
* Having a residence within a 45 minute drive
