Job Summary:

This position is responsible for operating field equipment, performing field operations, vehicle and equipment maintenance, dairy facility maintenance, and manure system maintenance. This position will occasionally work independently on maintenance projects in the dairy facilities and will often work on projects as part of a team. Aptitude for skills such as mechanics, basic plumbing and electrical, and fabrication are necessary. General knowledge of field operations and crop production are also critical. This position is also required to maintain a valid commercial driver's license or have the ability to obtain one within a year. This position will occasionally be required to work nights and/or weekends.

Qualifications:

-Experience in operating equipment, skilled trades such as fabricating, plumbing and mechanics, etc., and/or crop production.

-Ability to obtain Commercial Driver?s License within a year.

-Ability to obtain Commercial Pesticide Applicator's License
