Production Operator - 3rd Shift - $25/hour

Pay: $25/hour (it's $18.75/hr base plus $6.25/hr shift differential)

Time: 9:45 PM - 6:15 AM Sunday - Thursday

Description:

The Robot Operator is responsible for the continued operation of robotic lines in order to make the highest quality horseshoes in the most cost effective manner.

In this role our contractor will use calipers for measuring horseshoes manufactured by the robot along with tongs to grab the horseshoes. Occasionally (2-3 days on average) they will change over the machine to produce a different size horse shoe.

- Make adjustments to the equipment and robots to ensure quality horseshoes

- change dies, trimmers, buttons, kidneys and punches

- Maintain written documentation

- Monitor and adjust heat and speed of robot

- Keep the line clean and dump nuggets in a safe manner when line is down

- Monitor and adjust shoe thickness, nail hole depth and general appearance of the horseshoes continually. Every hour log quality on the Quality Control Check Sheet and leave a sample shoe.

MUST HAVE

6 + months of manufacturing experience -

Mechanical aptitude

Ability to read measurements

Stand on feet 8 hours a day -

Must be able to lift a 50lb tool and push/pull 150lbs of force.

PREFER - Previous machine operation experience

This position is operating a robotic machine. Candidates will be setting up/changing tooling, and using a calipers to inspect product. Candidates must be able to stand on their feet for 8 hours/day, lift up to 70 lbs, and torque up to 150 lbs on occasion.
