Medical Scheduler

Description

The Robert Half Healthcare Practice is currently searching for a highly-detailed and motivated Medical Scheduler at a reputable healthcare organization. This position will provide you with the opportunity to work with successful people and grow your career within the healthcare industry! The ideal candidate should be passionate about gaining additional experience and providing excellent customer service.

The duties that you will be responsible for include but are not limited to:

+ Answering phone call in a friendly and timely manner providing a warm greeting

+ Scheduling patient appointments for consultations, evaluations, treatments, follow-up, or re-evaluation

+ Obtaining existing and new patient insurance information for insurance verification

+ Assisting in maintaining and updating patient medical records

+ Ability to enter data into various electronic systems while maintaining the integrity and accuracy of the data

Requirements

Requirements:

+ High school diploma or equivalent education

+ At least one 1 year of previous medical scheduling experience

+ Strong customer service skills

+ Flexibility to adapt to changes in procedures and job assignments

+ Ability to multi-task and communicate well with individuals of all backgrounds

+ Proficient in MS Office
