If you are a Supply Chain Professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!

AS A COMMODITY MANAGER, YOU WILL:

* Conduct e-sourcing/reverse auctions to assure best cost from supply base
* Be responsible for global supplier quality, delivery, lead time and cost performance goals on multiple, complex/strategic commodities
* Solve complex global supplier issues and improves global supplier manufacturing and business processes

* Identify, research and implement new materials and manufacturing technologies

* Conduct commodity specific competitor and industry analysis to identify cost, material selection, manufacturing techniques and materials sourcing to improve the company's competitive position

* Support commodity inventory goals and lead-time initiatives

* Lead supplier development teams

* Conduct negotiations with suppliers to achieve commodity and business objectives.

* Lead and coordinate resources in the acquisition of materials for new and existing product programs

* Lead global commodity team(s) to achieve goals

* Identifify evaluate, select and manage global supplier base with particular emphasis on business strategies

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

* Bachelor's Degree in business, engineering, supply chain or related field

* Minimum of six years of experience is required
