Director of Business Development and Customer Service
Role Overview: Medical Alley Association (MAA) is working to transform the healthcare business model. If you want to have an impact on a $4 trillion dollar sector of the U.S., join the only organization representing the entire continuum of care. This role will lead the ongoing growth of MAA's membership, which represents some of the nation's leaders in the healthcare industry, including Mayo Clinic, Medtronic, and 3M. This individual must be energized by making and maintaining business relationships, self-motivated, and love being part of a team. This leadership role will define new sales opportunities and work with the MAA team to execute on sales targets and annual organizational goals. Responsible for direct sales and building executive level relationships, must be dedicated and have a strong sales drive for growth and profitability. This individual will work closely with CEO and leadership to advance MAA mission.
Key Roles & Responsibilities:
???Responsible for developing the membership business strategy. Will include messaging, targets, and membership sales and execution plan on behalf of MAA
???Develop support services strategy and structure, provide leadership to support service team to ensure membership quality, satisfaction, and retention at >=95%
???Meet and exceed annual business development growth targets
???Design and implement sales management performance tools
???Design and implement customer materials and/or dashboards that demonstrate MAA value proposition, including quarterly member engagement communications
???Integrate into MAA service offerings the various specialty areas of MAA, which include, government affairs, communications, Medical Alley Starts, and Health Transformation
???Create offerings, such as, roundtables, podcasts, and webinars to engage the C-Suite of member companies
???Serve as an organizational leader in external events (webinar moderation, podcasts etc.)
???Engage key members and C-suite stakeholders
???Contribute to member content strategy and creation
Qualifications/Requirements:
???Bachelor's degree required
???8+ years sales experience in health product, service, or tech at C-Suite level
???3+ years management experience of direct reports
???Demonstrated success in meeting and exceeding sales targets
???Market research and market segment knowledge
???Executive presence with outstanding verbal and written communication skills
???Proficiency in PowerPoint design and delivery
???Positive, can-do attitude, willing to roll sleeves up and get the job done
???Creative, collaborative, high energy, strategic, and concise
???Dedicated to quality service with strong regard for ethics and integrity
