Estimator/Project Manager

CRANE 1Estimator / Project ManagerReports to:POSITION SUMMARYThe Estimator responsibility includes developing accurate estimates and sales proposals for new overhead traveling bridge cranes, runways, and related equipment. Project Management aspect includes project coordination and documentation management with communication internally, and externally with customers and vendors.PRIMARY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with sales personnel in collecting information required to quote new equipment to the end users in their markets.
• Work with management team in properly estimating all projects.
• Act as the lead in communication with customers, vendors, and within our group relative to estimating, and later coordinating job details through design/build process.
• Order and track all components associated with a project.
• Communicate with the service department all scheduling of the projects.
• Ideally, this person will have 5+ years in the overhead crane and hoist business possibly as a technician, engineer, or salesperson.

RequirementsSKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

• Medium to high level of competence in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Excel , Microsoft project and Word
• Must have experience with AutoCAD in design and detailing.
• Experience with both mechanical and electrical schematics and design.
• Excellent communication skills in customer service and scheduling projects.
• Ability to communicate well both verbally and in writing
• Self-motivated
• Very detail oriented
• Highly organized
• Knowledge of crane and hoist industry desired
• AS or BS Degree in Engineering or Business Administration desired
