Description, Duties & Responsibilities:

There are various duties and projects working both lab and field settings. There are positions available in the following areas:
  • Agronomy/Pulse - Preparing Seed, Planting, Data Collecting, Weed Management, Mowing, Cross Pollinating, and Harvesting. For more information contact: hannah.m.worral@ndsu.edu
  • Grapes - Pruning, Mowing, Weed Management, Data Collecting, Harvesting, and Micro Vinification. For more information contact: chris.asmundson@ndsu.edu
  • Weeds - Mixing, Spraying, Data Collecting, Harvesting, Pesticide Certification, Weed Identification. For more information contact: tiffany.d.walter@ndsu.edu
  • Agronomy - Preparing Seed, Planting, Data Collecting, Weed Management, Mowing, and Harvesting. For more information contact: eric.eriksmoen@ndsu.edu
  • Extension IPM Program - Two scouts, based out of the NCREC, will serve eight, north central North Dakota counties. Scouts will help monitor disease, weed, and insect impacts in major area crops. Training for insect and plant disease detection will be offered at the end of May, prior to scouting. Collection of plant, soil, or insect samples may be required for further processing.
