Pay Rate: $30.00 hr.
Virtual/remote position - Prefer someone in the Twin City, MN area or Sioux City, Iowa but will consider other areas
Schedule: 8am -5pm Central Time zone.
Title: Credit Analyst
The CA is responsible for account receivable management of assigned accounts, including collection of past due amounts for a portfolio consisting of 200-300 accounts. In addition, daily review of order holds and relevant follow-up for release or other actions. Reconciles receivables as assigned and resolves open issues with regards to on-account-cash, invoice discrepancies, and internal processes. This position may also assist with obtaining credit reports, conducting credit reviews, or other credit related duties.
Competencies and other skills:
- Strong skills in working with numbers, problem-solving and risk analysis.
- Demonstrate effective interpersonal communication skills (verbal and written) to work with internal and external customers.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products (Email, Word, and Excel).
- Experience with JD Edwards or other ERP system preferred
- Basic accounting knowledge; Strong analytical skills
- Solid critical thinking skills, strong negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and prioritization skills, and a can-do attitude
Education: 2 plus years of B2B credit and collections experience required
