Job Description

Responsibilities:
  • Leads audit activities on large complex audit projects with little supervision or acts as an Auditor in Charge (AIC)
  • Demonstrates advanced project management skills regarding engagement notification, task assignments and monitoring, interim performance evaluation, coaching, and time management
  • Assess risks and controls and design evaluation of business activity with little or no guidance
  • Works independently and initiates changes in audit scope or directions, as necessary
  • Assists in the formulation of audit plans
  • Reviews documentation, work papers, findings and recommendations for audits performed under his/her direction and provides constructive feedback
  • Develops formal written reports and presents audit results to management, including recommendations
  • Exercises independent judgment in developing methods , techniques and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
  • Act as a department resource for business process knowledge or subject matter expertise
  • Supervises and mentors Associate/beginning auditors
  • Cultivates positive relations with business leaders and auditees
  • Identifies and recommends audit approaches and tools
  • Enhances current audit methodologies and recommends improvements to the audit process


Qualifications:
  • Requires a College Degree with major/minor in Accounting or Finance or related field
  • Advanced Degree, CPA or CMA preferred
  • 5+ years business experience
  • Strong project management and people skills
  • Applicable industry experience
  • Dedication to team work and leadership
  • Integrity within professional environment
  • Strong Communicator
