Responsibilities and Duties:
The Project Manager/Estimator implements the overall project plan for construction propositions,
delivering the projects within budget and at pre-determined cost levels. This individual will have to
properly manage budgets coupled with a sense of urgency to get the project completed within the
project timeframe, including proper close out. This individual will work closely with the client,
providing status updates on timelines as well as budgeted costs and will be responsible manage
projects from start to close out.
* Collaborate with the project team to determine and execute the best strategies for winning
new projects, whether competitive or negotiated efforts.
* Manage multiple schedules and budgets simultaneously.
* Work closely with project superintendent(s) to find solutions for on job site questions/issues
for awarded projects, to ensure project success.
* Ensure all required documentation are being completed and sent to the client timely and
accurately. This includes but is not limited to purchase orders, change orders and close out
documents.
* Maintaining consistent, professional communication with clients and the internal team, as
well as subcontractors, vendors, and materials suppliers.
* Schedule job site walk-throughs with key subcontractors/vendors, and clients, as required.
* Communicate with the design team and owner as necessary during the preconstruction
process.
* Coordinate schedule and general condition requirements with the project team.
* Participate in client presentations and preconstruction meetings as necessary.
* Participate in larger, cross-functional teams within the main Company divisions.


Qualifications:
* Associate's or Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related
field and experience in pre-construction and estimating. Experience in both a project
management and estimating capacity
* Commercial Construction fields: 10 years (Required)
* Must have a valid driver's license
* Ability to travel to client and project sites as required
* Seeking strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills to ensure all
established deadlines are met
* Polished communicator and company representative to the Client
* Ability to read and understand contracts, plans, schedules and specs
* Ability to understand, reconcile, review AIA requisitions, project budgets, scheduling, and
estimating
* Due to significant electronic reporting, tech-savvy is critical!
* Strong analytical and logic skills with the ability to maintain a high degree of precision on
detailed work
* Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously under time
constraints
* Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite & Ability to use Sage/Timberline Program
* Must be able to multi-task; prioritize with minimal supervision
