Mental Health Professional - LMFT, LPCC, LPC, LICSW, LP - Sign on

*Mental Health Professional - $10,000 sign-on bonus*
*Location: *St. Paul, MN. Will float between two sites - Twin Town and Latitudes
Meridian Behavioral Health LLC is a leader in behavioral health care and addiction recovery services, with a network of addiction treatment centers throughout Minnesota. The position is Monday through Friday daytime hours (8am-4:30pm) with availability to work a mid-shift (10am-6:30pm) once or twice per week. Prior education, experience, or interest in serving individuals of the LGBTQIA+ community and/or with history of incarceration/legal involvement preferred.
The Mental Health Professional is responsible for facilitating approximately 10 groups of one hour duration per week, scheduling and completing individual brief therapy sessions with an assigned caseload of patients weekly, attending Clinical Staffing weekly with counselors and Treatment Director, attending monthly Staff Meeting in-person or via Microsoft Teams, and participate in shift reports with staff at shift change as schedule allows. This position reports directly to the Treatment Director. This position requires an independently licensed (LICSW, LPCC, LMFT, etc.) master's level clinician.
*Job Duties: *

* Assist primary health care providers in recognizing and treating mental disorders and psychosocial problems.
* Assess the clinical status of patients referred by primary care providers through brief consultative contacts.
* Work with primary care team to treat and manage patients with chronic emotional and/or health problems efficiently and effectively.
* Assist in the detection of at-risk patients and development of plans to prevent further psychological or physical deterioration.
* Evaluate patient care plans with primary care team.
* Teach patients, families and staff about care, prevention and treatment enhancement techniques.
* Monitor the site's behavioral health program, identifying problems related to patient services and making recommendations for improvement.
* Attend and participate in meetings and quality improvement activities as required.
* Serve as a member of committees as requested.
* Participate in evaluation of peers and support staff.

*Job Requirements: *

* Master's degree in Behavioral Sciences or related program with at least 4000 hours of post masters supervised experience in the delivery of clinical services in the treatment of mental illness
* Current state licensure as a Psychiatric Nurse, Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor, Licensed Psychologist, License Marriage and Family Therapist.
