Description and Requirements

What will you be doing for the Potbelly Nation?

• The Potbelly District Manager leads his or her district in making their shops the best place for lunch.
• Manages all aspects of operations for 8-10 Potbelly Sandwich Shops.
• Continuously train and develop General Managers to make sure each shop is running great.
• Coach and develop General Managers on: Staffing, Scheduling, Turnover, Employee Satisfaction, Performance Management, Training and Orientation, Communication, Rewards and Recognition and Administration.
• Ensure all GMs hire nice people and teach them the Potbelly Advantage.
• Bring passion, energy and enthusiasm to everything you do, including food preparation and taking care of our customers!
• Must develop the annual business plan for the Market.
• Help in maintaining Potbelly as the cleanest place around.

What you will need:

• Minimum of at least 3-5 years as a Multi-Unit leader in a restaurant or retail environment with P L responsibility, food safety, sale-forecasting and staffing.
• Experience growing and promoting new leaders.
• Marketing to the local community.
• Experience in the Restaurant Industry, preferred.
• Ability to manage a fast-paced, high-volume, clean, customer-focused restaurant.
• Demonstrates and reinforces Potbelly's Behaviors and Values through leadership and staff selection.
