The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring for an HR Coordinator and Trainer to join the team at American Family Field in Milwaukee, Wisconsin . As an HR Coordinator you will be an integral part of the HR team by assisting the department with the day-to-day operations at American Family Field.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver training programs via classroom or virtual.
  • Maintain and upload training records and provide reports after audits to management.
  • Develop new approaches for training to standards, observations, training to gaps, rewards and recognition ensuring the highest possible quality of Internal and External Guest Service.
  • Responsible team member recognition programs.
  • Assist the HR team with hiring events throughout the season.
  • Available to work events (days, nights, weekends) to engage with team members and managers as it relates to our customer service standards.
  • Support the team with internal and external HR-related inquiries and requests.
  • Assist with pre-employment paperwork for incoming associates.
  • Ensure federal, state, local, and company regulations are followed when handling hard and digital associate files.
  • Follow compliance and company regulations when working with sensitive and confidential information.
  • Complete essential administration tasks; answering emails, phone calls, and filing.
  • All other duties assigned
  • Seasonal role to end when the Brewers season concludes.
Qualifications
  • Previous experience in a Human Resources, Training or equivalent role preferred minimum one (1) year.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to problem-solve and operate in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, decision-making, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
  • Must be able to give constructive and positive feedback to hourly team members.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Knowledge with the following programs People Manager, Shift, and ServSafe Alcohol a plus.
  • Working knowledge of HR and employment laws is a plus.
Physical Requirements
  • Ability to sit for long periods of time.
