Support an assigned client group on behalf of the HR team to assist leaders to be better leaders, employees to be better employees and to assist with the plan, design and initiation of employment life-cycle programs for FCPC


What you need to perform the job well:


  1. Support assigned divisions and departments as a business partner to the leaders in the areas of talent acquisition, talent development, total rewards, employee relations, policy interpretation, and investigations.
  2. Support the employee population in assigned divisions and departments for career development, employee relations, policy interpretation and support for challenging situations.
  3. Prepare, review, interpret, and analyze data that supports the creation of systemic HR improvements for the organization, employee engagement, and divisional improvements in leadership development.
  4. Ensure standard operating procedures and practices in coordination with other division strategies.
  5. Develop appropriate program metrics to build accountability, measure results and optimize impacts of HR programs and initiatives.
  6. Provide development and compliance training to the organization as needed.
  7. Ensure client group employee effectiveness through recognition, coaching, counseling, skill advancement, performance evaluation, and corrective action.
  8. Ensure all appropriate grant funds, contracts and agreements are properly executed.
  9. Serve as a mentor, coach and positive role model for ethical behavior.


What you need to be successful:


  • Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Industrial Psychology or related field: Master's Degree preferred with 2 years of field-related business partner experience; or Bachelor's Degree with 5 years of Human Resources leadership experience; or lesser education with 10 years of Human Resources experience.
  • Thorough understanding and experience with all aspects of Human Resources processes.
  • Desire to drive Forest County Potawatomi to the next level in Human Resources.
  • Ability to identify, analyze, disseminate, and develop creative response models to address client group issues and challenges.
  • Experience with systems selection, installation and integration for HRIS, LMS, PMS, ATS, etc. preferred.
  • Ability to utilize technology such as HRIS, ATS, as MS Office.
