Job Details

These are twelve month, Monday-Friday, 8 hours per day, job level 2 ($18.52-$19.09 per hour) positions. Benefits include health insurance; paid vacation and sick leave; and paid holidays. Shift differential is paid for the days indicated in the Minnesota School Employees Association for Custodians and Maintenance Employees ’ working agreement. The major responsibilities of a custodian are to ensure cleanliness, safety, and security of the assigned unit.

Positions are located at:
  • Bemidji High School - 10:00 p.m.-6:30 a.m. and includes a $1.90 shift differential,
  • Bemidji Middle School - 5:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. and includes a $0.90 shift differential
  • District Wide – 3:00 p.m.-11:30 p.m., includes $0.90 shift differential. In this position the employee may be assigned day or nightshifts based on staff absences.
The conditions of employment are in accordance with the agreement between the District and the Custodian and Maintenance Personnel.
