YOUR ROLE

  • The Parts Room Team Manager will lead a team of employees to ensure efficient processes and controls within Henkel's Flagship Laundry Facility with 700 employees
  • Responsible for planning, organizing, and supervision of resources (personnel, equipment, etc.) of the Parts Room across 6 manufacturing cells, consistent with company and departmental policies and procedures.
  • Management of departmental or company projects and design/delivery of presentations regarding goals of the projects.
  • Responsible for performance management of all direct reports by providing appropriate feedback, recognition, coaching and mentoring to motivate team members to grow and perform at optimal levels
  • Partner closely with Maintenance Team Managers and Operations Managers to determine what part inventory demand efficiency
  • Communicate with corporate accounts payable to troubleshoot and resolve purchase order or invoice discrepancies
  • Supervise or assist with development of parts room database to include assignment of part numbers, establishing minimum/maximum inventory levels, and generating reports
  • Assist and train personnel to cycle count parts, materials, and supplies and sign out tools and equipment
  • Cross reference OEM parts and locate alternative suppliers and manufacturers to ensure lowest cost, best quality parts and materials are purchased
  • Manage company and department initiatives and meet defined goals; prepare and deliver departmental or company presentations as approved by department manager/ director.


YOUR SKILLS

  • SAP and Ariba experience highly preferred
  • Bachelors degree preferred, or equivalent leadership experience will be considered
  • 2-5+ years' of leadership experience in a complex manufacturing environment; p rior experience in purchasing, receiving, inventory or a related function required
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and listening skills ; project management experience
