Accountant / Payroll Processor

Smith & Sem Ltd, in Fergus Falls Minnesota, is looking to add an Accountant to our team. Ideal candidate would have an accounting degree or prior experience in accounting or related field. Knowledge of QuickBooks is a plus, as well as Microsoft Office, specifically Excel. Duties to include general accounting, payroll processing, customer, and administrative support duties. Position does have client contact which requires strong customer service and communication skills. Salary is dependent upon qualifications and experience; Benefits Available: Health, Dental, Aflac, Retirement & Paid time off; full-time or part-time options.

The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, possess strong organizational skills, and have the ability to meet numerous deadlines. They must be able to manage their time well and work on multiple projects simultaneously. They also must be extremely accurate and have great attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills are a plus. Other skills needed include computer skills, a good working knowledge of standard office technology and equipment, and general office procedures.
