Position Overview:

The BerganKDV Audit Staff is focused on the quality completion of various audit, research and consulting client engagements. Audit Staff will have the opportunity to explore various industries and specialties through projects, mentorships and learning and development activities.

Responsibilities:

* Assist with the completion of audit engagements
* Familiar with pronouncements of the Governmental Accounting Standards Board and AICPA
* Learn a thorough knowledge of the Client's business and related needs
* Responsible for various segments of audits under supervision
* Prepare financial statements, and management letters in accordance with professional and Firm standards
* Interact with clients to help team efficiency
* Become oriented with the Firm's entrepreneurial operating system and culture

Qualifications:

* BA/BS Degree - preferably in Accounting or related field of study
* Actively working toward CPA certification
* Ability to work closely with clients to answer questions or collect information
* Effective verbal and written communication skills
* Organized and detail oriented; able to maintain records and files
* History of honesty and integrity; able to maintain confidentiality at all times
* Understands and is able to use various accounting software programs proficiently preferred
* Competency in technical skills
* Accuracy and work quality through application of professional and firm standards
